Every night, when I finish my homework, I sweep the floor in my bedroom because I don’t want to watch it.
I hear noises on the TV which makes me want to sweep again, then I start to really clean. I sweep all over the room; all over the corner of the couch, up the wall, down the wall. And that’s when I hear other people in my room.
My other friends also know about the games because I don’t want to clean the whole house and I prefer to sit in my room watching television.
Having a TV in the living room was totally unnecessary in this modern world. We live in an era where so many other things have more and more relevance and TV’s just isn’t one of them. Nowadays it seems like a waste of space — and I think it’s even worse than buying a DVD player.
So, after decades of playing with this television, I retired it, and sold it for more than it was worth. And then, a few months later, I realized that I had left the remote on.
I put it on the back of my couch, but accidentally left it at the center of the room — where it’s out of reach — by leaving it there overnight.
So that’s when the cleaning really began.
